The 2016 AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships has kicked off in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Anush Grigoryan (51kg) has won the first bout against Ukraine’s Tetyana Kob and qualified for the 1/16 finals.
On May 18 Armenia’s Ashkhen Hovhannisyan (60kg) will also compete.
In every weight category of the World Championships 4 Olympic qualifications are raffled.
