Armenia’s boxing team’s new coach, Karen Aghamalyan isn’t going to make major changes in the team. 

“The team won’t have new members before Rio Olympics. Only after upcoming training camp we will know the names of those athletes who will leave for Istanbul to the qualifying championship. Istanbul won’t be a testing ground for us, we’ll send only those athletes who have more chances of conquering an Olympic qualification’’, said Karen Aghamalyan in an interview with ANOC.

The Armenian Boxing Federation has changed the head coaches of national teams appointing Karen Aghamalyan a head coach of adults’ team.
