President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach has made a speech at the G20 Summit at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
“In a year the whole world will follow the Olympic Games, the only event which unites the whole world. Athletes from 206 National Olympic Committees and the IOC Refugee Olympic Team will perform in Tokyo. They compete with each other but live together in the same Olympic village peacefully. There is no discrimination in the games, we are all equal. In our fragile world such examples give us hope for a better future.” Thomas Bach said.
