The IOC Executive Board has recommended to include more sports - breaking, surfing, sport climbing and skateboarding – in the upcoming Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

Surfing, sport climbing and skateboarding have already been included in the 32nd Summer Olympics in Tokyo as additional sports.
In case of forming a part of the Paris 2024 program breaking will make its debut in the Summer Olympic Games. During the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires a breaking competition was held the winner of which became Russia’s Sergey Chernyshev.
