European freestyle wrestling U23 champion Vazgen Tevanyan will be operated.

During the European Wrestling Championship in Bucharest, Romania the 65kg weight class wrestler injured his hand because of which he refused the further struggle. The medical examination has showed that the sinews of Tevanyan’s thumb have partially been damaged and there is a need for a surgery.
Two weeks after the surgery the 19-year-old wrestler will be able to train lightly and after 6 weeks he can return to the mat trainings.
