Yerevan Urartu Basketball Club has signed a contract with American basketball player Terry Smith who will take part in the 2016-2017 Russian Super League Championship in the club’s line-up.

Earlier Terry Smith has played for French Asvel and Turkish Sakarya basketball clubs.

Urartu has already signed a contract with the following players; defenders – Amiran Amirkhanov, Artur Khachaturyan, Victor Uskov, Sergey Polukhin, Edgar Babayan, attackers – Michael Poghosyan, Victor Hovsepyan, Andrey Konstantinov, Nikita Zakharov, center players – Marcel Hovsepyan.

The team’s recruitment is still going on and will end in early September.
