Armenia’s Arman Yeremyan (87kg) became a silver medalist at the European Taekwondo Championships ended in Montreux, Switzerland.
The European former champion reached the finals where he competed against Russian Vladislav Larin. Yeremyan conceded to the rival only 0-1 and became a silver medalist. The third place was shared by Azerbaijan’s and Serbia’s representatives.
On the eve Armenia’s Sergey Vardazaryan (68kg) gaining advantage over Italy’s, Turkey’s and Azerbaijan’s representatives had become a bronze medalist of the championships.
Armenia was represented at these championships by Varag Aghajanyan (54 kg), Haykaz Samvelyan (58 kg), Sergey Avanesov (63 kg), Sergey Vardazaryan (68 kg), Davit Vardumyan (74 kg) and Arman Yeremyan (87 kg).
