Armenia’s first representative Armen Grigoryan (73 kg) came 6th at the Junior World Championships kicked off in Fiji.  The Armenian weightlifter has registered a total of 309 kg (139 +170).

American Clarens JR Cummings was named the winner registering a total of 337 kg (145 +192).

Rafik Harutyunyan (81 kg), Karen Avagyan (89 kg) and Varazdat Lalayan (+109 kg) and only female representative Arpine Dalalyan (+87 kg) of the Armenia weightlifting junior team will also perform at the World Championships.
