Round 7 was played at the European Individual Chess Championship after a day off. 

Samvel Ter-Sahakyan won Ukraine’s Ruslan Ponomoryov and Robert Hovhannisyan – Czech Jiri Strocek.
Hrant Melkumyan, Manuel Petrosyan vs Arman Pashikyan, Zaven Andriasyan and Gabriel Sargsyan tied the games. Hovhannes Gabushyan lost for the second time in a row.
Samvel Ter-Sahakyan is the only Armenian chess player who is half a point behind the leaders. Robert Hovhannisyan has 5 points.
This year the European Individual Championship is being held in Gjakova, Kosovo. The championship will end on May 23. It is comprised of 11 rounds.
