Armenia’s gymnastics team member Artur Davtyan is hopeful before the upcoming Test Event in Rio and confident that he will manage to qualify for the Olympic Games.

“I think I came out normally at the Armenian Championship. I performed well in the different apparatus event, I admit that there were some gaps in the floor exercise but there weren’t so rough. Now I am in pretty good shape. The most important for me is to qualify for the Olympics. If I repeat the exercises in the same way I will qualify for them”, Davtyan said to the ANOC press service.

Gymnasts Houry Gebeshyan and Arthur Davtyan have got the right to participate in the Test Event in Rio and in case of repeating the same result as at the World Championship, they’ll conquer Olympic qualifications. The Test Event will take place on April 16-22 at the Rio Olympic stadium.
