Armenia women’s chess team member Lilit Mkrtchyan finished 5th in the basque event of the IMSA Elite Mind Games.

Mkrtchyan had a good opportunity to stay in the top 3 but lost the last match to Nana Dzagnidze and placed 5th. Alexandra Kosteniuk took the first place, Nana Dzagnidze – the second place and Valentina Gunina captured the bronze medal.
