Ani Hovsepyan at 64 kg lost in the quarterfinal of the Women’s European Boxing Championship underway in Spanish capital Madrid.

European U22 silver medalist lost to Polish Aneta Rygielska.

In the first bout Ani Hovsepyan had won Croatian Maja Saric.

Armenia’s other representatives at the European Championship, Anush Grigoryan (51 kg) and Kristine Sargsyan (48 kg), had started with a defeat and left the struggle.
