Minsk 2019: Baregham Harutyunyan wins 1/8 final

The fourth day of the European Games is going on in Minsk, Belarus.

On June 24 boxers continue performing. Baregham Harutyunyan at 52 kg started from the 1/8 finals.

The Armenian athlete fought against Belarus’s representative Emil Aliev and won 4:1.

Harutyunyan will continue the competition in the ¼ finals the bouts of which will take place on June 26.

Earlier Armenian boxers Zhirayr Sargsyan at 56 kg had lost in the 1/8 finals and Gurgen Hovhannisyan (+91 kg) had qualified for the ¼ finals defeating Turk Ilyas Muchahit.
