The flags of the participant countries were raised in the Olympic village of the European Games to be held in Minsk from June 21 to 30.

The flags of the organizing country, Belarus, European Olympic Committee and Minsk 2019 were solemnly raised after a short concert program.

After the ceremony the representatives of the European Games participant countries, led by the delegation heads planted a tree in the area near the Olympic village.

Head of the Armenian delegation Armen Grigoryan told the ANOC press service that the athletes are pleased with the conditions of the Olympic village and have already managed to get acquainted with other athletes and to spend trainings.

The Armenian boxers, shooters, samboists, judoka Ferdinand Karapetyan and cyclist Edgar Stepanyan are already in the Olympic village.
