The front runner of Armenia’s chess team Levon Aronyan has improved his position in the FIDE rating list.

In December’s rating list Aronyan occupies the 6th position. Unlike the last month Aronyan has progressed by one position.
The World champion Magnus Karlsen tops the list.Among the best chess players are also Veselin Topalov, Vishi Anand, Vladimir Kramnik, Hikaru Nakamura, Fabiano Caruana, Anish Giri, Ding Liren and So Wesly.
Armenia’s team members Gabriel Sargsyan placed 43rd, Sergey Mikayelyan 88th and Hrant Melkumyan 95th.
