As told the head coach of Armenia's gymnastics team, Hakob Serobyan, Huri Gebeshyan’s registered results give 99% opportunity for the Rio Olympics. “Huri made us very happy getting 51,965 points in multi-event. If Huri Gebeshyan shows the same results in in april (Rio de Janeiro) then she’ll become the first woman athlete to represent Armenia at Olympic Games. As for the guys, particularly, Arthur, everything’s good, we hope today our athletes will achieve new successes’’, said Serobyan to the ANOC reporter.
From October 23 to November 1 the capital city of Glasgow in Scotland is hosting the World Gymnastics Championships which is qualifying for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Armenia is represented there by Vahagn Davtyan, Harutyun Merdinyan, Arthur Davtyan and Huri Gebeshyan. Our team has left for Glasgow on October 17.
