At the EUBC European Youth Championships held in Anapa Armenia’s super heavyweight Gurgen Hovhannisyan lost the final to a Russian athlete and conquered a silver medal.

The Armenian youth boxing team returns from the European Youth Championships with four medals – three bronze and one silver medal.

The bronze medals were conquered by Arsen Abgaryan at 49kg, Zhorzhik Marutyan at 56kg and Gurgen Madoyan at 69kg.

Armenia was represented by 9 boxers at the European Youth Championships.
