Armenia chess team member Levon Aronyan played in a tie the first round of the Norway chess tournament.
In the first round of the tournament kicked off in Stavanger, Norway Aronyan’s opponent was Veselin Topalov. Aronyan played with white pieces. The game ended on the 46th move.
In the next round Aronyan will compete with Nilo Grandelius.
The tournament will be held from April 19 to 29. April 23 and 26 will be days off.
