Boxer Hovhannes Bachkov qualifies for the semifinals of the European Olympic Qualifier

In the quarter-finals of the AOB European Olympic Qualifier ongoing in Turkey Armenia’s representative at 64kg Hovhannes Bachkov won European Games’ and European Championship’s silver medalist, Great Britain’s Pat Cormack and qualified for the semi-finals.

Armenia’s representative Anush Grigoryan (52kg) lost to Norway’s Hansen Mariel in the quarter-finals.

On April 13 Artur Hovhannisyan (49kg), Vladimir Margaryan (69kg), Narek Abgaryan (52kg) and Aram Avagyan 56kg) will compete, too.
