The international youth boxing tournament “Nikolay Pavlyukov Memorial” drew to a close in Anapa where Armenia’s Gurgen Hovahannisyan grabbed a silver medal.

Armenia’s last representative, super heavyweight Gurgen Hovhannisyan had won 3:0 a Georgian athlete in the semifinals but in the finals he lost to Russia’s champion and conquered a silver medal.
On the eve, in the quarter finals Hovhannisyan had won a Russian boxer. The Armenian boxing youth team had left for Anapa with 8 athletes. The team will return with one medal.
