Armenia’s chess team leader Levon Aronyan was 4th at the London Chess Classic.
In the last round of the tournament Aronyan’s opponent was Maksim Lagrave. The GMs accepted to end the match in a tie on the 34th move. From 9 possible points Aronyan earned 5 ones and came in 4th.
The winner of the tournament became the current World champion Norway’s Magnus Carlsen.
