Armenia freestyle wrestling team member Levan Berianidze will not participate in the European Championship, as the head coach of the freestyle wrestling team, Arayik Baghdadyan, informed the ANOC press office.

“Levan has got an injury during a training camp and hasn’t recovered yet. As we have the Olympics ahead of us we decided not to take a risk. Berinadze is in a recovery phase now”, Baghdadyan said.
Levan Berianidze (125kg) is still the only wrestler who has got an Olympic qualification.
