The Armenian Judo Junior Championship drew to a close at the sports hall of Armenian Deaf Society.

This year there were many participants among boys. The winners of the Championship became Gaspar Hayrapetyan (50kg), Gor Hovsepyan (55kg), Narek Umroyan (60kg), Robert Torosyan (66kg), Boris Shatberyan (73kg), Zhora Vardanyan (81kg), Arman Panchulazyan (90kg) and Sahak Ginosyan (90+kg).

Among girls there were 14 participants. The best female judokas according to the weight classes became Ruzanna Balasyan (44kg), Irena Petrosyan (48kg), Nune Nazaryan (57kg) and Anna Ghazaryan (57+kg).

The Armenian Judo Junior Championship was attended by 224 judokas from 23 teams.
