Armenia freestyle wrestling team keeps training in the Ukrainian Olympic base, Koncha-Zaspa.

“The trainings run according to the program. Here we are holding a joint training camp with the national teams of the USA, Brazil and Ukraine. After it we are going to participate in a tournament to be held in Kiev basing on the results of which the squad going to the European Championship will be formed. After the tournament we will return to Armenia and a week later we will leave for Stayki to a training camp and then for Riga to the European Championship”, Arayik Baghdadyan, the head coach of Armenia freestyle wrestling team said to ANOC.
The wrestlers will take part in the 20th international tournament devoted to the prominent athletes and coaches of Ukraine.
Armenian will be represented by Garik Barseghyan, Garnik Mnatcakanyan (57kg), Valodya Frangulyan (61kg), Davit Safaryan (65kg), Valter Margaryan (70kg), Grigor Grigoryan, Varuzhan Kajoyan (74kg), Musa Murtazaliev, Shamir Atyan, Hajimurad Nurmogamedov, Sargis Hovsepyan (86kg), Edgar Yenokyan, Andranik Galstyan (97kg) and Levan Berianidze (125kg).

The tournament will be held in Kiev on February 12-14.
