Armenia’s freestyle wrestlers will come out at the international tournament, 36th Takhti Cup on January 14. 

“This year Armenia will be represented by 9 wrestlers at Takhti Cup: Gor Grigoryan, Hmayak Aghajanyan (57kg), Artak Hovhannisyan, Ashot Velitcyan (61kg), Artur Baghdasaryan, Narek Sirunyan, Artur Muradyan (65kg), Poghos Tadevosyan (70 kg) and Suren Khachatryan (74kg). The wrestlers are accompanied by coaches Habetnak Kurghinyan, Armen Malkhasyan and Garnik Shahnazaryan. Most of them are young wrestlers who have a good opportunity to stand out at the tournament. Those athletes who will come out successfully will join the national team in Ukraine in a training camp”, Armenian freestyle wrestling team’s head coach, Arayik Baghdadyan said to ANOC. 

On January 14 wrestlers of 57, 61, 97 and 125 weight classes will come out at the 36th Takhti Cup.
