The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board approved the sports and event program for the Summer Youth Olympic Games which will be held in the capital of Senegal, Dakar.
For the first time equal number of boys and girls will take part in the boxing, artistic gymnastics and wrestling competitions in the Youth Olympic Games.
Due to the increase in the number of participants the organizers have decided to accommodate the athletes in two phases. It is planned that the first part of the athletes will return home after ending their performance giving their place to the second part.
Let us recall Senegal is the first African country which will host the Olympic Games.
