In the penultimate, 9th, round of the Euro 2020 qualifying tournament the Armenia national team hosted the Greece national team at Yerevan’s Republican Stadium and lost with a minimal score. The only goal of the match was scored by Dimitris Limnios. It was Abraham Khashmanyan’s debut match as a head coach of the Armenia national team.

After the defeat the Armenia national team retreated to the 4th place with 10 points. In the last match of the qualifying tournament Abraham Khashmanyan’s team will be hosted by the Italy national team in Palermo on 18 November.
