International Olympic Committee (IOC) vice-president Juan Antonio Samaranch highly appreciated the readiness of the Chinese sports infrastructures for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games during his visit to Beijing. During three days the IOC representatives visited various venues and had meetings with Beijing 2022 Organising Committee and the International Paralympic Committee.
“We are not surprised with China’s readiness for the Games. We are very impressed with the amount and quality of work that has been done,” Juan Antonio Samaranch said.
The Beijing 2022 Organising Committee also informed that in December the first high-speed trains are expected to head to Alpine Skiing Center, 90 kilometers from Beijing.
The Winter Olympic Games Beijing 2022 will be held in China from 4-20 February.
