Armenian boxers continue performing successfully in an international tournament underway in Lviv, Ukraine.
Of 8 Armenian representatives 7 have already qualified for the semifinals.
Zhorzhik Marutyan at 57 kg and Karen Tonakanyan at 63 kg have celebrated victories. Marutyan’s rival was Ukraine’s Dmitri Aponchuk whom the Armenian boxer defeated ahead of time.
Karen Tonakanyan was stronger than Yuri Sepelyuk whom he knocked down in Round 3.
So, 7 Armenian boxers have secured at least 7 bronze medals. On October 11 they will spend the semifinal bouts.
