Gymnast Artur Tovmasyan has reached the final of the World Championship underway in Stuttgart, Germany.
The Armenian athlete scored 14,566 points at rings and qualified for the final with the 8th position.
Harutyun Merdinyan earned 14,133 points at pommel horse and placed 13th.
Artur Davtyan didn’t manage to overcome the qualification round, too. The 2nd European Games champion failed his performance at vault. He placed 25th with 13,666 points.
In the all-around event the Armenian athlete scored 80,898 points and came 37th.
The finals of the separate apparatus will take place on October 12 and 13. Artur Tovmasyan will perform at rings on October 12.
The World Championship has brought together 289 gymnasts. The championship is qualifying for Tokyo-2020.
