In the second game of the first round of the Eurasian League Urartu won 99:78 Russia’s Arsenal from Tula.
Before the game the opening ceremony of the tournament was held during which Eurasian League President Karen Giloyan delivered a welcome speech.
“Good evening to everyone! Dear fans, athletes and coaches I’m happy to welcome you here at the opening of the Eurasian League. Today is a historic day because the Eurasian Basketball League launches today. I wish all the participants good luck and let the strongest win,” Karen Giloyan said.
Let us recall the Eurasian League has brought together six teams from Armenia, Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. In the first game Aragats won 89:79 Kazakhstani Barsy.
