Greco-Roman wrestler Maksim Manukyan (87 kg) lost the chance to become a bronze medalist of the 2nd European Games.
On the last, 10th day of the European Games in Minsk Manukyan spent a repechage bout with Polish Arkadiusz Kulynycz and lost 3:3.
Earlier Maksim Manukyan had lost the first fight to Ukraine’s Zhan Beleniuk, 1:5.
Beleniuk had reached the final letting Manukyan to participate in the repechage round.
On June 30 Artur Aleksanyan (97 kg) will fight for a gold medal.
In the Greco-Roman wrestling competition Armenia was also represented by Armen Melikyan (60 kg), Karen Aslanyan (67 kg) and Karapet Chalyan (77 kg).
Melikyan lost in the first fight, Aslanyan suffered defeat in the fight for bronze and Chalyan became a silver medalist.
