Freestyle wrestlers Valodya Frangulyan (65 kg) and Sargis Hovsepyan (97 kg) suffered defeat from the start of the wrestling competition of the European Games underway in Minsk.

Frangulyan started the struggle from the 1/8 finals where his opponent was Azerbaijan’s Haji Aliev.
The Armenian wrestler lost 0:6.

Sargis Hovsepyan also entered the mat from the 1/8 finals.

Hovsepyan’s opponent was Georgia’s Elizbar Odikadze whom the Armenian wrestler conceded 2:3.

If Aliev and Odikadze reach the finals Frangulyan and Hovsepyan will got a chance to participate in the repechage round.
