The Armenia Greco-Roman wrestling cadet team has won 2 medals at the European Championship underway in Italian Faenza.
Vigen Nazaryan (80 kg) after having 3 wins qualified for the final where lost 0:3 to his Romanian opponent and became a silver medalist while Karapet Manvelyan (48 kg) deserved a bronze medal.
Varuzhan Antonyan (55 kg) and Arman Khachikyan (65 kg) lost the fights for bronze medals.
Armen Harutyunyan (51 kg) and Razmik Kurdyan (110 kg) will wrestle for bronze on June 19 and Homeros Arakelyan (45 kg) has got a chance to participate in the repechage round.
Other members of the Armenia team Ashot Khachatryan (60 kg), Lyova Khachatryan (71 kg) and Razmik Mahlumyan (92 kg) didn’t manage to succeed.
