Armenia’s chess men's and women's teams started the first round of the European Team Chess Championship with victory. The men’s team headed by Levon Aronyan won all matches scoring Iceland’s team 4:0. Our women players also gained victory in round 1 when Elina Danielyan won the 1st match and then continued in draw. In round 2 of the European Team Chess Championship our men’s team will play with France and the women with Russia.
