Gymnast Harutyun Merdinyan comes 7th at the Olympic Games

On the ninth day of the 31st Summer Olympic Games the final of pommel horse was held.
Armenia's representative, European reigning champion Harutyun Merdinyan, scoring 14. 933 points, came 7th at general count.
Max Whitlock from Great Britain became the champion of the exercise.
The President of RA, Serzh Sargsyan, the President of NOC of Armenia, Gagik Tsarukyan and the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of RA, Gabriel Ghazaryan, came to see Merdinyan's performance.
