On the fifth day of the 31st Summer Olympics Aram Avagyan was the first who started the struggle.

At the boxing hall situated in Rio's central venue Aram Avagyan faced Japan's Arashi Morisaka in the first bout and won 2-1.

Avagyan's next opponent is Ireland's Michael Conlan. The bout is set for August 14.

Today, the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of RA, Gabiel Ghazaryan, has arrived in Rio.

On the eve Armenia's another representative, Vladimir Margaryan who celebrated a victory will spend the next bout on August 11.

Shortly Hovhannes Bachkov will enter the ring.
