On the third day of the Summer Olympic Games shooters began the struggle.

Armenia's Hrachik Babayan scoring 621, 5 points in the 10m, air rifle, 60 shots exercise placed 24th. The qualification round had brought together 56 shooters.

A new record was set during the competition. Italy's representative scored 630.2 points and placing first qualified for the final.

In the final 8 shooters will compete for medals.
