World and European champion Youri Djorkaeff has watched the world wrestling championship and searched Armenian surnames with «yan» among the names of athletes.

"I was watching the World Wrestling Championship on TV, which was held in the US city of Las Vegas and during the whole Championship, was looking for athletes with Armenian surnames. Then I saw how the Armenian athlete became a world champion", said to NOC reporter the footballer. The world famous footballer was in Yerevan to take part in the Half Marathon. Djorkaef also was awarded the National Olympic Committee's highest award, the Gold Medal.
