The Armenia national basketball team has qualified for the final of the European Championship for Small Countries.
In the first quarter of the game Armenia was only 4 points behind of the opponent (16:20). Then Tigran Gyokchyan’s alumni not only returned the lost points but also moved ahead by one point (35:34). The third quarter was rather tough for both teams but the Armenian team kept leading (51:46). Eventually the game ended 74:60 and the Armenia national team qualified for the final of the European Championship for Small Countries participating in it for the first time.
Andre Spight Mkrtchyan was the most efficient player of the game with 24 points.
The second pair of the semifinals is Andorra and San Marino. They will compete at 21:30 (Yerevan time).
