The National Olympic Committee of Armenia will celebrate Olympic Day under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee.

Traditionally this year the NOC of Armenia is also celebrating Olympic Day. This year the National Federations will stage demonstrative performances and other sporting and cultural events.
Olympic Day will be celebrated at Northern Avenue on June 26, 6:00pm.
Olympic Day was celebrated for the first time on June 23, 1948. That time Sigfrid Edstrom was the president of the IOC and he called on the youth to unite around the Olympic ideals. And that year Olympic Day was celebrated in Uruguay, Portugal, Greece, Canada, Switzerland, great Britain, Venezuela and Belgium.
The National Olympic Committee of Armenia invites everybody to take part in the celebration of Olympic Day and urges to organize such events in the regions of Armenia.
